AMS Group in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist for a temporary role to help manage a high volume of customer support tickets. You’ll be tech-savvy, handle customer enquiries with confidence, and thrive in a fast-paced ticket environment.

Experience with Zendesk is highly regarded, and you will support customers from enquiry through to resolution, collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely, helpful responses and adherence to SLAs.

• Previous technical or customer support experience.
• Experience within SaaS, technology, telecommunications, utilities or EV charging is a plus.
• Zendesk experience is highly regarded.

Managing a high volume of customer support tickets

Based from our Melbourne Office + Hybrid

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis and help us respond to increased customer demand.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is tech-savvy, confident handling customer enquiries and comfortable working in a fast-paced ticket environment. If you’ve worked with Zendesk and can hit the ground running, even better.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll support customers from enquiry through to resolution, including:

Managing a high volume of customer support tickets

Investigating and resolving straightforward technical issues

Responding to customer enquiries, complaints, disputes and refunds

Managing escalations and identifying the right next steps

Providing clear, professional and helpful written responses

Working across multiple systems while meeting SLAs

Collaborating with internal teams and partners to resolve issues

Identifying opportunities to improve processes and the customer experience

What you’ll bring

Ideally, you’ll have:

Previous technical or customer support experience

Experience within SaaS, technology, telecommunications, utilities or EV charging

Zendesk experience is highly regarded

Strong written communication and problem-solving skills

Confidence working across multiple systems

The ability to prioritise and stay organised in a high-volume environment

A practical, customer-focused approach to resolving issues
