Instant Waste Management in Western Australia is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the Operations and Scheduling Managers with day-to-day activities and service scheduling. The role involves coordinating with drivers, clients, and sales staff to ensure timely service delivery and accurate administrative tasks.

This position requires strong organisation, punctuality, and solid computer skills, with a willingness to work Saturdays on a rotating basis as needed.

Formación

• Experience in the Transport and/or waste industry is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritise, multi task and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Reliable and responsible.
• Strong computer operation skills (Microsoft Office applications).
• Ability to work in a team and support colleagues.
• Ability to measure driver performance and implement improvement initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistance to the Operations Manager and Scheduling Managers in day-to-day operational matters.
• Undertake scheduling management during leave relief of scheduling managers.
• Manage hiab and vacuum service scheduling.
• Set up and amendments to pre-arranged service schedules.
• Punctual daily lodgement of statutory forms as required.
• Provide assistance to sales staff on technical and pricing matters.
• Interact with drivers and clients throughout the day.
• Attend to other administrative, sales and operational matters as required.
