Waste Services Group in Melbourne’s VIC region is seeking an Operations Coordinator to ensure positive experiences for customers and drivers, supporting the VIC Collections Division, Premier Waste.

The role requires excellent communication, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including daily liaison, processing sales enquiries, data entry, and driving team support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer/operations coordinator experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong computer literacy and confidence using multiple applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a small team and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers daily by email and phone.
• Process general phone/email sales enquiries, quotations, orders, invoices and credits.
• Data entry of driver run sheets.
• Support the operations team to achieve targets and deliverables.
• Make outgoing calls to existing client database and to drivers.
• Provide problem solving solutions to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Follow company operating principles and values; build positive relationships.
