Job summary

NGARE EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS PTY LTD is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Receiving Controller to manage daily intake of goods and inventory. You will gatekeep warehouse efficiency by ensuring shipments are accurate, safe, and logged into our INFOR WMS.

Responsibilities include inbound scheduling, inspection against PO/packing slips, precise data entry, and resolution of discrepancies with procurement and vendors. A forklift LF license and 2–3 years in warehousing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or receiving operations (2–3 years).
• Proficiency with Inventory Management Software and MS Excel.
• Valid forklift license (LF).
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and solid communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Management: oversee daily schedule of incoming deliveries and carrier drop-offs.
• Verification & Inspection: check shipments for quality, quantity, and damage against PO and packing slips.
• Data Entry & Tracking: log received items into the INFOR WMS promptly and accurately.
• Discrepancy Resolution: document/ report short-shipments, damages, or incorrect items with procurement/vendors.
• Safety & Compliance: enforce warehouse safety during offloading and proper material handling.
• Space Optimization: collaborate to designate storage locations to optimize space.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Receiving Controller to manage and oversee the daily intake of goods, materials, and inventory. In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our warehouse efficiency—ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurate, safe, undamaged, and correctly logged into our inventory management systems.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

• Inbound Management: Oversee and coordinate the daily schedule of incoming deliveries and carrier drop-offs.
• Verification & Inspection: Inspect incoming shipments for quality, quantity, and damage against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Data Entry & Tracking: Log all received items into our in-house WMS (INFOR) system promptly and accurately.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Document and report short-shipments, damages, or incorrect items, working closely with procurement and vendors to resolve issues.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce warehouse safety standards during the offloading process and ensure proper material handling.
• Space Optimization: Collaborate with floor supervisors to designate storage locations for incoming stock to optimize warehouse space.

• Certifications: Valid forklift license is LF

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand or walk for extended periods.
