Job summary

Stock Locker is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Operator to join our team in Queensland. This hands-on role handles receiving freight, picking and packing orders, and maintaining accurate stock levels with a focus on safety and organisation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of warehouse or store experience, a current forklift licence, and strong attention to detail. Knowledge of industrial consumables or PPE is advantageous. Training is available for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and organise incoming freight.
• Unload and put away stock in the appropriate warehouse locations.
• Accurately pick, prepare, pack customer orders for delivery or collection.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with stocktakes.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised and efficiently laid out.
• Assist with inventory control and stock management.
• Assist with deliveries to customer locations when required.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Identify stock discrepancies, damaged goods or inventory issues.
• Assist with general warehouse and operational duties.

This has seen us diversify throughout Australia supplying to various industries including Manufacturing, Transport, Health, Mining, Food Processing, Local Government and State Government. We currently have branches in both Toowoomba and Darra whilst servicing Customers Nationally.

About The Role:

This is hands-on warehouse role responsible for receiving incoming freight, picking and preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring the warehouse operates in a safe, organised and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse or store person experience and take pride in accuracy, organization and getting the job done. Experience or knowledge of industrial consumables, abrasives, welding products, safety products or PPE would be highly advantageous but willing to train the right person.

• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Has good computer skills and is comfortable working with inventory systems
• Has experience or product knowledge in industrial consumables, abrasives, welding, safety or PPE (advantageous)
