Job summary

OSW Group is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator to join our fast-growing team in Sydney. This hands-on role ensures orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time, while maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised warehouse.

Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you will receive stock, assist with stocktakes, and operate a counterbalance forklift when required. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, a forklift licence, strong attention to detail and a proactive

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience.
• Experience with picking, packing, receiving and dispatch.
• Current forklift licence and counterbalance forklift experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong focus on safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical and manual handling duties.
• Reliable, organised and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure the correct products are dispatched against sales orders.
• Receive incoming stock and assist with unloading deliveries.
• Check incoming goods against relevant documentation.

About the Role

Reporting to the State Operations Manager and Operations 2IC, you will support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, including receiving stock, picking and packing orders, dispatch, inventory control and general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensure the correct products are dispatched against sales orders
• Receive incoming stock and assist with unloading deliveries
• Check incoming goods against relevant documentation
• Store and organise stock in the correct warehouse locations
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory counts
• Maintain accurate stock movements and warehouse records
• Operate a counterbalance forklift where required
• Assist customers and work closely with other team members
• Keep warehouse, pallet and work areas clean, safe and organised
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• Wear and maintain required PPE and safety equipment
• Follow instructions from the Operations team and complete allocated tasks within required timeframes
• Raise any operational, stock or safety issues with your manager promptly

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience
• Experience with picking, packing, receiving and dispatch
• A current forklift licence and counterbalance forklift experience preferred
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• A strong focus on safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to perform physical and manual handling duties
• A reliable, organised and proactive approach to work
