Job summary

Patten Pavement Services is seeking an highly organised Operations Coordinator to join our Profiling and Haulage division in Victoria. You will coordinate multiple projects, plan staff and equipment, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across profiling and haulage operations.

Working with the Operations Manager, you will own end-to-end project coordination, provide accurate reporting, and support safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar coordination role within civil, construction, or transport industries.
• Strong understanding of plant, equipment, and workforce scheduling.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Solid organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve quickly and make practical decisions.
• A strong focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate staff, plant, and materials across daily, weekly, and monthly operations.
• Coordinate mobilisation of crews and equipment to and from job sites.
• Manage end-to-end project coordination, ensuring timelines and client expectations are met.
• Provide accurate documentation, reporting, and invoicing support.
• Manage personnel and workforce scheduling to ensure efficient staff utilisation.
• Coordinate with the workshop to manage plant maintenance and equipment availability and ensure timely servicing of assets.
• Act as a key point of contact between internal teams, subcontractors and clients.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and performance.
• Support safety compliance and ensure all works are carried out to company standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
