Job summary

Brisbane Property Investment Firm is seeking an Operations Manager to bridge Acquisitions, Contracts, Finance and Build Support. You will streamline processes from property presentation through letting, aiming to improve efficiency across teams.

Required are 3+ years in operations, contracts, and finance knowledge, with strong leadership capabilities to manage cross-functional relationships and drive milestones with the finance team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in operations management (property, house-and-land, conveyancing, or mortgage broking preferred).
• Previous contracts experience, both new build homes and land.
• BDM or similar experience working for a builder, specifically a wholesale builder.
• Thorough understanding of finance, in particular investment construction finance.
• Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee & influence contracts department, ensuring it's running to its full potential and constantly looking at new ways to improve.
• Support the post land settlement division, ensuring builders communicate effectively to the company, and therefore to clients.
• Main point of contact with builders/developers/suppliers on current finance deals post EOI stage, ensuring contracts are received in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Broker Finance Manager to ensure milestones are met and finance team has what they need.
• Collaborate with Acquisitions, oversee property supply, and introduce new vendors.
• Maintain effective communication with external solicitors and other facilitators.
• Assist the Accounts department to ensure key milestone payments from suppliers are received.
