Job summary

1Recruit International is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead construction operations across Brisbane's residential portfolio. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee five senior leaders in construction, commercial, design and formwork, drive project performance, implement practical systems and strengthen client relationships to support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

Senior leadership experience in construction management.
Proven ability to improve project performance and implement systems.
Strong forecasting, procurement and cash flow management.
Excellent client relationship and business development skills.
Experience with high-rise or mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

Lead construction operations across programme, cost, procurement, resources, safety and quality.
Establish accurate project reporting and cost-to-complete forecasts.
Review critical path, subcontractor performance and delivery risks.
Coordinate teams to resolve issues and improve delivery.
Develop leaders and address capability and performance gaps.
Oversee cash flow, variations and contractual risks with the commercial team.
Strengthen project controls and support JobPac implementation.
Oversee completion, handover and defects management.
Lead senior client relationships and develop repeat business.
