Morwell RSL Sub Branch Inc. is seeking a Manager of Operations to support the General Manager in delivering strategic direction across hospitality, gaming, functions, and member services. You will drive operational performance and member experience with a focus on financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities include rostering, staff development, compliance with cash handling and WHS, and regular meetings to align teams. This role demands leadership and strong strategic input to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Extensive computer skills with knowledge of accounting software.
• Experience in regulatory compliance and risk management in clubs.
• Minimum two years' experience in gaming/hospitality environments.
• Experience with AML/CTF in a club context is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rostering and leave management across operational departments.
• Monitor staffing levels to maintain service standards and wage targets.
• Lead performance reviews and drive accountability and improvement.
• Ensure cash-handling procedures are safe and compliant.
• Support management in resolving customer concerns promptly.
• Provide direction, mentoring, and coaching to team leaders and staff.
• Conduct regular operational meetings for alignment and communication.
• Ensure WHS compliance across the venue with audits.
• Provide strategic advice to the General Manager on performance.
