Job summary

Norths Leagues & Services Club in Queensland is seeking a Duty Manager to lead our busy hospitality operations, from restaurant and bars to events, ensuring smooth day-to-day service for members and guests.

You will coach teams, manage rosters, uphold licensing and safety requirements, and drive exceptional experiences with a hands‑on, customer‑focused leadership style across all departments, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar hospitality or club management role.
• Current RSA, RSG, First Aid, Safe Food Handling, Blue Card and RMLV certificates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of the club, ensuring all areas (restaurant, bars, gaming, and events) operate smoothly and efficiently.
• Lead, motivate, and develop staff, ensuring a high-performing, customer-focused team across all departments.
• Ensure exceptional service at all touchpoints, handling member feedback and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Manage daily banking, reconciliations, and cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Create and maintain rosters, approve timesheets, and allocate resources effectively to cover peak periods.
• Maintain adherence to licensing, RSA/RSG, and regulatory requirements, while overseeing safety and responsible service of alcohol.
• Accurately manage records, data entry, and reporting through Eaglei360 and Odyssey platforms.
• Assist with club events, functions, and entertainment activations, ensuring seamless execution and excellent member experiences.
• Work closely with Operations, Food & Beverage, Gaming, and Membership teams to ensure alignment.
