Job summary

Vicinity Centres in Melbourne seeks an Assistant Operations Manager for The Glen & Oakleigh Central to support the Operations Manager in delivering seamless customer experiences and centre presentation. Qualifications

• Developing leader with track record of achieving positive outcomes through others.
• Experience in operations with retail/mixed-use assets and budget exposure.
• Experience managing complex building services with cleaning and security contracts.
• Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Exposure to risk registers and HSE audit documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations Manager in day-to-day management of suppliers and contracts (security, cleaning, HVAC, vertical transport).
• Ensure safety of asset occupants through emergency management procedures and activation of action plans.
• Support centre presentation to high standards and awareness of risk registers and treatment plans.
• Assist with capital projects and energy efficiency/sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders to support department performance.
