Job summary

Auswood International Pty Ltd in Milperra NSW is seeking an Operations Assistant & Internal Sales Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role acts as the central point between customers, sales, warehouse, purchasing, accounts and transport to move orders from enquiry to dispatch.

You will manage enquiries, quotations, order entry, stock checks and freight coordination while supporting external sales staff and maintaining ERP/CRM records.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, customer service, or logistics coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.
• Proficient with ERP systems and Excel.
• Experience with MYOB Advanced and HubSpot is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond professionally to customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Process sales orders accurately and confirm pricing, stock availability, lead times and delivery requirements.
• Prepare quotations, follow up outstanding quotes and refer sales opportunities to the relevant salesperson.
• Check customer purchase orders against Auswood sales orders and coordinate approved changes or urgent requirements.
• Support external sales staff with quotations, stock checks, order status and customer information.
• Keep customer and follow-up records current in the ERP and CRM.
• Review daily orders and dispatch priorities, confirm stock allocation and issue picking documents.
• Coordinate warehouse priorities and freight bookings, providing accurate delivery details.
• Monitor orders from picking through delivery and maintain proof-of-delivery and freight records.
• Investigate delayed, incomplete, damaged or incorrect deliveries and coordinate recovery or claims where appropriate.
