Job summary

HB Group in Toowoomba is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations, stock control, and timely dispatch. You will lead a small assembly/warehouse team and report to the Operations Director, ensuring products are built in order and freight is dispatched on time.

The role is office-based at the center of operations with opportunities for growth and hands-on involvement in improving workflow and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating warehouse, production, logistics or similar operations.
• Experience leading or supervising a small team.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Experience with inventory, CRM or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules aligned with sales demand.
• Coordinate freight bookings, deliveries and handovers.
• Prepare dispatch documents including packing lists.
• Manage customer order updates and documentation.
• Coordinate purchasing to ensure stock availability.
• Assist with bringing new products into production.
• Maintain build instructions and address production issues.
• Monitor stock levels and warehouse requirements.
• Lead and allocate work to assembly and warehouse staff.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on the floor.
