Job summary

Pace Appointments QLD is seeking an experienced manufacturing or production leader to take responsibility for its Toowoomba-based operation, reporting to the COO. The role spans production, warehousing, logistics and administration.

You will drive productivity, manage P&L, enforce safety, and build high-performing teams while collaborating with customers and suppliers to deliver consistent results.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within manufacturing operations.
• Experience in agribusiness or FMCG is desirable but not essential.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing operational and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production, warehouse, transport and administrative teams.
• Drive productivity, operational efficiency and profitability across the site.
• Take ownership of P&L performance, budgeting and cost control.
• Lead a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor operational performance and provide reporting and insights to senior leadership.
• Identify and implement process improvements across productivity, quality and service.
• Collaborate with supply chain and procurement to optimise inventory and production planning.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and the agricultural community.
