Job summary

Mastercard is seeking an Enterprise Operations Analyst II to provide Tier II support for the OCC and to drive operational improvements. The role includes project support, junior staff training, and applying engineering techniques to deploy new technology initiatives.

You will analyze trends in system performance, ensure proper escalations, and develop documentation and metrics to improve efficiency and network health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Broad knowledge with routing/switching, tunneling, security operations/engineering, MPLS.
• Demonstrates expertise across OCC domains and leadership abilities.
• Basic UNIX scripting, JCL, MVS, batch scheduling, Tandem technology knowledge.
• Firewall experience and file transfer are highly desired.
• 3 to 5 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Tier II support functions for the MasterCard Operations Command Center (OCC).
• Provide project support for major initiatives with an emphasis on operations and operational support.
• Perform proactive network analysis to ensure network integrity and performance is in an optimal state.
• Develop documentation to support the operations environment.
• Develop metrics to measure efficiencies within the environment.
• Interact effectively with partners, customers and stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate and implement change within the network infrastructure. Produce reports and documentation of impacting issues.
• Understand documentation of tickets and manage shifts tickets.
