Sharon AI is seeking an Operational Tools Administrator to configure and improve Jira and related tools. You will streamline workflows, manage access and ensure governance across engineering, operations and business teams.

The role involves dashboards, integrations with ITSM and procurement tools, and hands-on support for users in a fast-paced AI infrastructure environment. Hybrid work applies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience administering Jira/ITSM tools.
• Strong Jira administration knowledge: projects, workflows, permissions, automation.
• Experience with Confluence and Jira Service Management.
• Analytical mindset with governance and documentation focus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

As Sharon AI continues to grow, we're looking for a talented Operational Tools Administrator to join our Technology team and play an important role in configuring, administering and continuously improving Jira and our broader set of operational tools.

In this role, the Operational Tools Administrator will bring structure and consistency to how engineering, operations and business teams plan, track and report on their work, managing projects, workflows, permissions and integrations across Jira, Confluence and Jira Service Management. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, IT and leadership teams, with exposure to cutting-edge technology at the forefront of AI infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

• Administer and configure Jira and associated operational tools, including Confluence and Jira Service Management
• Manage user access, groups and permission schemes across Jira and other operational tools
• Design and maintain workflows, issue types, fields and screen schemes that support engineering, operations and delivery teams
• Configure and maintain integrations between Jira and other business systems, including monitoring, ITSM and procurement tools
• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Jira and operational tools users
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and automation rules to support performance tracking
• Manage app and plug-in installations, licensing and upgrades across Jira and related tools
• Establish and maintain governance standards, naming conventions and documentation
• Train and support users, including onboarding of new teams and projects
• Monitor system performance, data integrity and backups, driving continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years' experience administering Jira and/or other operational or IT service management tools, preferably within a technology, cloud or infrastructure environment
• Strong working knowledge of Jira administration, including projects, workflows, permissions and automation rules
• Experience administering other Atlassian or comparable operational tools, such as Confluence and Jira Service Management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to configuration and troubleshooting
• Effective stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical teams
• High attention to detail, with a disciplined approach to governance and documentation
• Ability to manage competing priorities and support requests in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

• Understanding of ITSM/ITIL practices and their application to tool configuration
• Familiarity with Jira automation and REST API for building integrations
