Job summary

V/Line is seeking a Configuration Manager - OCS in Melbourne to lead governance for Operational Control Systems and manage changes across projects, engineering, maintenance and operations.

You will coordinate governance processes, document changes, maintain configuration records and support continuous improvement of change management practices. This role offers a 2-year fixed-term with a flexible hybrid work model and salary from $120,000 plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating and embedding change initiatives within operational, technology, or asset-management environments.
• Strong understanding of change control, governance, risk and compliance processes.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and influence outcomes across groups.
• Experience maintaining configuration information and data records with high accuracy.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
• Continuous improvement mindset with ability to implement better ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Change Control Advisory Board and oversee governance for Operational Control Systems.
• Coordinate change activities across projects, engineering, maintenance and operations.
• Facilitate governance, approvals and compliance of changes.
• Maintain configuration records, databases and asset information.
• Support administration and improvement of the ServiceNow change management process.
• Monitor adherence to risk management and change control requirements.
• Contribute to project delivery by managing operational impacts of changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve change and data management practices.
• Prepare documentation to support governance, traceability and decision making.
• Foster stakeholder engagement and support for change initiatives.
