Job summary

V/Line is seeking a Configuration Manager - OCS to oversee changes affecting Operational Control Systems, ensuring governance, documentation and implementation maintain configuration integrity. You will coordinate across projects, engineering and operations, driving improvements in change management practices.

The role emphasises stakeholder engagement, governance, risk control and data accuracy while enabling a flexible hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating and embedding change initiatives within operational, technology, infrastructure or asset management environments.
• Strong understanding of change control, governance, risk and compliance processes with documentation, assessment and implementation focus.
• Proven ability to build stakeholder engagement, facilitate discussions and influence outcomes across diverse groups.
• Experience maintaining configuration information, records and databases with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Change Control Advisory Board and govern change for Operational Control Systems.
• Coordinate change activities across projects, engineering, maintenance and operations.
• Facilitate governance, approval and compliance processes for changes.
• Maintain accurate configuration records, databases and asset information.
• Support ServiceNow change management process administration and improvements.
• Monitor adherence to risk management and change control requirements.
• Manage operational impacts and change-related activities to deliver projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve change and data management practices.
• Prepare documentation to support governance, traceability and decision-making.
• Foster stakeholder engagement and support for change initiatives.
