Job summary
Flinders University seeks a proactive Operational Support Officer to join the Operational Support team, delivering high-quality operational and administrative support to the Discipline of Rural and Remote Health (RRH) at Flinders University. Based at the Darwin Casuarina campus, you will coordinate conferences, stakeholder visits and provide executive support to leadership staff.
You will contribute to improving procedures and systems to ensure efficient service delivery across the discipline,
Qualifications
- Proven experience providing operational and administrative support in a complex organisation.
- Ability to coordinate events, travel and business operations.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational and administrative support including calendar management, meetings coordination and distribution of correspondence.
- Build and maintain relationships with leadership staff and key stakeholders.
- Support development and maintenance of operational procedures, templates and processes for consistent service delivery.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff, students and visitors in line with policy.
