Job summary

Flinders Rural and Remote Health NT in Darwin is seeking an Operational Support Officer to provide high-quality operational and administrative support to the Discipline of Rural and Remote Health at Flinders University. Based at the Darwin Casuarina campus, you will coordinate conferences, events, and stakeholder visits while supporting leadership staff.

You will help improve procedures and systems, manage calendars, meetings, travel, and communications, and foster strong working relationships

Qualifications

• Proven experience providing operational and administrative support in a complex organisation.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and high-attention-to-detail abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret policies and contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational and administrative support, including calendar management, coordination of meetings and conferences, and the preparation and distribution of correspondence.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with leadership staff and key stakeholders.
• Supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of operational procedures, processes and templates to support efficient service delivery.
• Coordinating travel arrangements for staff, students, visitors and groups, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
