Job summary

CSL Behring is seeking two Operational Excellence Managers for the Broadmeadows manufacturing site to accelerate productivity improvements and embed the CSL Operating System (COS). You will lead lean initiatives, coach teams and partner with senior leaders to deliver measurable business value.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing process improvement, strong Lean Six Sigma credentials, and a proven ability to drive change through structured problem-solving and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, data science, business, economics or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, process management, project management, continuous improvement or Operational Excellence in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated involvement in continuous improvement initiatives with measurable value.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including confidence with senior leaders.
• Experience coaching cross-functional teams through change and using Lean Six Sigma.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Embed and advance the CSL Operating System across the site.
• Develop and deliver Operational Excellence roadmaps aligned with site priorities.
• Lead or coach complex continuous improvement initiatives and structured problem-solving activities.
• Support Process Centric Teams, tiered meetings, visual management, Standard Work and Leader Standard Work.
• Facilitate workshops and coach teams in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Use value stream mapping and data to identify opportunities and insights.
• Build sustainable continuous improvement routines through Gemba walks and coaching.
• Visualize performance with data tools to support decision-making.
• Deliver measurable value through safety, quality, productivity and operational gains.
