Job summary

PROCOM-Production/Compliance Mining Services in Gunnedah NSW is seeking an experienced Open Cut Mining Equipment Proficiency Trainer for a field-based role supporting production operations. The role focuses on in-field observations, coaching, and assessment of operators against site standards.

You will work closely with operators, supervisors and site leadership to develop better operating practices, safety, and efficiency across the operating cycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in open-cut mining environment.
• Demonstrated experience operating mining equipment (hydraulic excavators, haul trucks, dozers).
• Strong understanding of equipment operating techniques and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-pit operator proficiency observations and assessments.
• Provide one-on-one coaching to production operators.
• Track operator progress and identify performance trends.
