Job summary

Protech is seeking experienced Open Cut Mining Operators to join Mount Pleasant Operations Mine in the New South Wales upper Hunter Valley region. This part-time role runs 4-hour night shifts from 10:30pm to 2:30am on an even-time roster (Lifestyle 5/4).

Operators will perform safe and efficient operation of heavy mobile plant equipment, collaborate with the production team, and uphold safety, quality and productivity standards at the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in open-cut production mining on mechanical or electric haul trucks.
• Current NSW Drivers Licence.
• Proof of Australian working rights.
• Current National Police Check.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A testing.
• Reside locally (no camp & meals provided).
