Job summary

Transport for NSW seeks a Solution Architect - Device (Opal Next Gen) for a fixed-term role based in Parramatta. You will design and govern the Opal 2.0 Bus Solution, ensuring alignment with TfNSW technology strategies while guiding stakeholders through complex integration efforts.

You'll lead architecture activities, validate designs with suppliers and business teams, and oversee delivery and transition planning across the program to enable a modern, data-driven, customer-focused ticketing

Qualifications

• Proven experience in configuring, supporting and maintaining onboard ticketing technologies (driver consoles, validators, bus tracking equipment).
• Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders to deliver bus solutions in line with tech policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design and governance for the Opal 2.0 Bus Solution.
• Collaborate with suppliers, technical specialists and stakeholders to design, operate and validate testing approaches.
• Support installation, deployment, transition planning and governance activities to ensure program objectives are met.
