Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Solution Architect - Infrastructure (Opal Next Gen) for a up to 12-month fixed-term full-time opportunity in Parramatta, NSW. You will help modernise the Opal 2.0 program and support technologies across NSW’s public transport network, enabling data-driven decision making and improved operational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing solution architectures for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with technology strategy and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support solution architectures for Opal 2.0 gates and validators.
• Collaborate with Opal 2.0 ABT suppliers, technical specialists and business stakeholders to support design, validation and operation.
• Review technical documentation and contribute to testing approaches, governance and assurance processes.
• Support installation, deployment, transition planning and risk/issue management to meet program objectives.
