Job summary

INIT Australia is delivering next-generation smart transport technology as part of the Opal Next Generation Program, and we're looking for an experienced Project Scheduler to join our growing team. This landmark program will modernise NSW's ticketing infrastructure and enhance the passenger experience across the public transport network for years to come.

As Project Scheduler, you will establish and maintain the integrated program schedule across a multi-workstream technology environment,

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Scheduler, Planner or Program Scheduler in complex environments.
• Experience defining delivery approaches, sequencing activities and establishing project plans.
• Strong ability to build and manage complex project schedules.
• Advanced proficiency with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of dependencies, critical path analysis, and baseline control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated program schedules aligned to milestones and baselines.
• Define delivery approaches, sequencing and dependencies with PMs and leads.
• Ensure schedule integrity, version control and baseline management.
• Analyse schedule performance and provide credible recovery options.
• Provide scheduling insights and forecasts for governance decision-making.
• Engage with stakeholders to validate inputs and resolve conflicts.
