Job summary

The Extend Group is seeking an OOSH Relief Service Assistant to support before and after school care, vacation care, and related programs in Bowral and Tahmoor. You will engage children with educational activities, lead safe play, and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment.

You will work casual shifts with paid training and retention payments above award, plus ongoing professional development opportunities. A valid WWCC and First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Warm, engaging and friendly approach to children and families.
• Able to create fun, safe learning activities.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications (First Aid, CPR, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Create awesome experiences through science, sports, arts and activities for kids.
• Maintain safety and inclusivity in a vibrant OSHC environment.
• Prepare healthy snacks and support program delivery across Bowral and Tahmoor.

Hourly Rate: $37.58 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Before School Care: 6:45 AM- 8:45 AM.
• After School Care: 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Days Required: Monday to Friday. 3-5 shifts fortnightly.
• Vacation Care:Up to 30 hours per week. (only include if vac is offered at school).
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable but not required).
