Nabiac Kids Shack in Nabiac, NSW, seeks an experienced OOSH Coordinator / Nominated Supervisor to lead daily operations and regulatory oversight for a small, community-focused service.

The role combines leadership with hands-on work during Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care, with a split shift structure and additional committee responsibilities. NSW WWCC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Holds a Diploma qualification or another suitable qualification.
• Meets legislative eligibility and suitability requirements for Nominated Supervisor.
• Has sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law and National Regulations.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
• Is confident managing the operational and regulatory requirements of a small OOSH service.
• Works collaboratively and maintains positive professional relationships.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to child safety, inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Holds a NSW Working with Children Check clearance.
• Has completed, or is willing to complete before duties, mandatory child protection and safety training.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily operations, including staffing, supervision, administration and service delivery.
• Undertake statutory responsibilities of Nominated Supervisor per relevant laws.
• Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and policies.
• Work directly with children during Before/After School Care and Vacation Care.
• Promote child-safe culture and maintain child protection practices.
• Oversee risk management, regulatory documentation and notifications.
• Develop, implement and review service policies and procedures.
• Maintain SAT, coordinate continuous improvement and prepare for assessment.
• Collaborate with Educational Leader to support My Time, Our Place.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, educators and the community.
• Attend monthly Management Committee meetings and provide reports.
