Job summary

Pacific Hills Christian School seeks an enthusiastic OOSH Coordinator and Educational Leader to manage the Out of School Hours service and staff, and to develop a high-quality educational program for school-aged children.

The role is permanent, full-time, commencing at earliest availability. The successful candidate will promote child safety, Christian values, and collaborative relationships with families and staff in a supportive learning community.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place v2.0.
• Leadership and administrative experience is desirable.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Approved Child Protection and National Child Safety Training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the OOSH service.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to OOSH Assistants.
• Develop and maintain engaging, play and leisure-based educational programs.
• Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating environment for children.
• Build strong relationships with families, students, and staff.
• Support policy implementation, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage administration requirements, including ordering supplies and resources.
• Promote best practice in school-age care and stay informed on sector developments.
