Job summary

Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced OSHC Educational Leader to join our Outside School Hours Care service. This role offers the chance to influence program quality, mentor staff, and help shape an engaging environment where children can learn, grow and belong.

You will work with the OSHC Director to lead educational programs, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework while strengthening partnerships with families and the college

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood, School-Aged Education and Care, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place.
• Previous OSHC or education leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to mentoring and developing others.
• Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
• Growth mindset and commitment to educational excellence.
• Commitment to Redeemer Lutheran College's Christian ethos and values.
• Current Paid Blue Card and eligibility to work in Australia.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of engaging educational programs.
• Guide and support educators through mentoring and coaching.
• Promote reflective practice and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and legislative requirements.
• Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan and strategic development of the service.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider school community.
• Assist with operational leadership, administration and service management.
• Act as Responsible Person in Day-to-Day Charge when required.
