Job summary

Geeks IT Adelaide is expanding its onsite support team in Adelaide and seeks IT Technicians who want to set their own hours. You’ll handle on-site bookings for home users and small businesses, with no after-hours or on-call obligations.

You’ll bill per hour with a one-hour minimum, and bookings flexibly increase earnings. You'll work with Windows and Apple hardware, printers, and home networks, with a focus on friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Own ABN, driver’s licence and car.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Apple hardware, printers and home networks.
• Punctual, professional, and confident dealing with customers face to face.
• IT students and recent graduates are welcome if you know the tech and you\'re good with people, we\'ll work with you.

Responsibilities

• Printer setup for home users and small businesses.
• Email setup and basic troubleshooting.
• Resolve internet and connection issues.
• Wi‑Fi extender setup and optimisation.
• macOS updates and setup for Apple devices.
• New laptop and desktop setup and handover.
