Job summary

Geeks IT Adelaide is expanding its onsite support team in Adelaide and seeks IT Technicians who want to set their own hours. You’ll handle on-site bookings for home users and small businesses, with no after-hours or on-call obligations.

You’ll bill per hour with a one-hour minimum, and bookings flexibly increase earnings. You'll work with Windows and Apple hardware, printers, and home networks, with a focus on friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Own ABN, driver’s licence and car.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Apple hardware, printers and home networks.
• Punctual, professional, and confident dealing with customers face to face.
• IT students and recent graduates are welcome if you know the tech and you\'re good with people, we\'ll work with you.

IT Technicians Adelaide | Set your own hours

We're growing our onsite support team in Adelaide and looking for technicians who want well-paid work that fits around whatever else they've got on.

The work

Straightforward onsite jobs for home users and small businesses, local to you no after-hours, no on-call. Typical bookings include:

• Printer setup
• Email setup
• Internet and connection issues
• Wi-FI extender setup
• Apple macOS updates and setup
• New laptop and desktop setup

What it pays

You're paid on every hour billed to the client, with a one-hour minimum per booking and half-hour increments after that so a 20-minute job still pays a full hour. Take more bookings, earn more. No cap. We'll confirm your rate when we speak.

How the hours work

You set your weekly availability, add custom hours for specific dates, and block out days off whenever you need. Most of our techs run this alongside a full-time role.

What you'll need
