Job summary

KMTech in Melbourne is seeking an Onsite IT Technician to be the face of our client support, delivering hands-on technical help across varied environments. You’ll diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, perform maintenance, and build strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service.

This role blends office work and field visits, with certification development supported by the company.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Information Technology.
MS-900 Fundamentals certification.
OH&S and Working at Heights certifications (or willingness to obtain).
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Strong understanding of IT security basics and remote support tools.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability and time management.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite IT support to clients, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to minimise downtime.
Perform system maintenance, updates, and installations.
Escalate complex issues where required while maintaining ownership of the client experience.
Build trusted relationships with clients through proactive support and clear communication.
Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and system improvements.
