Job summary

BDO invites applications for a Workplace Experience Specialist to be the face of IT in our Sydney offices, delivering in-person technology support and a smooth onboarding for new starters. This role focuses on device lifecycles, meeting room tech, and ensuring daily productivity through a strong customer‑centric approach.

You’ll work five days onsite with IT teams across Cloud Operations, Security, and People & Culture, contributing to asset records and onboarding processes while delivering

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in-person IT support in a large corporate environment
• Certificate, diploma or tertiary IT qualification (or equivalent)
• ITIL Foundation certification with practical incident, problem, change knowledge
• Experience with M365, Windows, Teams Rooms and EUC support
• Imaging, Autopilot/Intune deployment experience
• Meeting room/AV support and hybrid meeting troubleshooting
• Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems and escalation processes
• Troubleshooting laptops, OS, networking and apps

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support across devices, meeting rooms, AV/MTR systems, onboarding/offboarding, VIP support and workplace technology readiness
• Collaborate with Cloud Operations, Application Support, Product Support for escalations and with Cloud Engineering for AV/EUC issues
• Operate the walk-up/tech-bar for immediate solutions
• Troubleshoot hardware issues including docking stations, peripherals, Wi‑Fi, local printing and workstation problems with escalation as needed
• Maintain device stock levels and loan pools across offices
• Keep asset and CMDB records up to date per lifecycle processes led by Asset & Configuration Lead
• Participate in asset audits and stock takes across offices
• Support leaver processing including device return and access closure with Cloud Operations and Security
• Provide ticket triage, walk-up first contact and hands-on diagnosis
