Job summary

Guidera O'Connor Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support the Melton Water Recycling Plant upgrade project, west of Melbourne. The role focuses on implementing site‑based HSEQ management systems and embedding the company values of Care, Integrity, Passion, Respect and Future.

You will drive continuous improvement in safety, sustainability, quality and governance, reporting to the HSEQ Manager and acting as the HSEQ champion for GO across project activities.

Qualifications

• Construction experience with high‑risk activities and safe work practices.
• Ability to translate legislation into practical site guidance.
• Experience in site‑based HSEQ program delivery and audits.

Responsibilities

• Champion HSEQ culture across project teams and subcontractors.
• Implement and maintain site HSEQ systems and procedures.
• Support accreditation maintenance and client requirements.
• Promote a safe and compliant workplace for all workers.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers, and teams to improve outcomes.
