Job summary

Guidera O’Connor in Victoria seeks a Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities on major projects from initial engagement to handover. You will work with Project Managers, the in-house Design Team, Project Engineers, Site Supervisors and trades to deliver safe, timely and cost-effective outcomes.

The role requires extensive construction experience, solid knowledge of the industry and the ability to lead teams while balancing priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a similar construction role.
• Solid construction industry knowledge.
• Diploma or higher in Project or Construction Management.
• Ability to lead and manage teams while balancing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong safety and quality focus.
• Water industry experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction activities from engagement to handover.
• Ensure safety, timeliness and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain quality and comply with policy and project specifications.
• Support upcoming large projects (70M+).
