Job summary

Scentre Group’s Westfield Carindale in Brisbane is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join a collaborative team. This hands-on role supports safe operation of the centre by coordinating contractors, assisting retailers, and maintaining safety, presentation, and compliance standards.

You’ll manage reactive maintenance, schedule works, run inspections and safety checks, and contribute to capital works and ongoing centre improvements.

Qualifications

• You’re proactive, organized, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in facilities, property, retail, or a similar environment is highly regarded, particularly within high-traffic or community-focused environments.
• You enjoy being hands-on, take ownership of your work, and build strong relationships with those around you.

Responsibilities

• Responding to reactive maintenance issues and completing onsite investigations.
• Coordinating contractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Managing work orders, reporting, and administrative tasks through facilities systems.
• Conducting routine inspections, safety checks, and supporting maintenance and minor works.
• Building strong relationships with retailers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting capital works projects and ongoing improvements across the centre.
• Assisting with incidents, emergencies, and compliance processes in line with procedures.
