Job summary

Noble Corporation in Australia seeks a Crewing Coordinator to ensure offshore units are staffed with qualified personnel and to maintain accurate shift plans. You will act as the main contact for offshore employees, guide them within company policies and coordinate crew changes, mobilizations and demobilizations.

You will manage HR data, assist training scheduling, and ensure safety and regulatory standards on the rig location.

Qualifications

  • Formal education at bachelor level or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar or relevant role
  • Excellent English communication skills (min. B2/C1)
  • Strong service mindset and customer-oriented approach
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices across the organization
  • Structured and well organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to take ownership, work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexibility, responsiveness, and pro-active attitude

Responsibilities

  • Maintain continuous dialogue and collaboration with Rig/Rig Management and HR Advisory in location
  • Serve as the primary contact for all employees assigned to rigs within the area of responsibility, including international and local offshore personnel
  • Ensure designated units are manned according to Noble Drilling requirements at all times
  • Arrange short-term or emergency crew coverage using internal talent or agency resources, and facilitate internal transfers with other HR Teams
  • Maintain and update shift plans and crew rosters in excel or relevant systems, as agreed with the rig and rig management
  • Collaborate with the training department to ensure compliance check and provide data for bookings
  • Distribute Joining Instructions to offshore personnel prior to rig assignments
  • Keep HR systems updated with accurate personnel data at all times
  • Provide timely information to Payroll regarding offshore employees and validate monthly payroll reports
  • Monitor and control absence registration in HR system and follow-up with employees as needed
  • Participate in the rotation for outside business hours HR phone support and assist during holidays
  • Ensure all personnel matters comply with the Employee Handbook, local/labor laws and agreements with HR Advisory support
  • Verify and approve invoices related to Agency employees and other manning costs
  • Collaborate closely with HR Advisory on rig mobilizations/demobilizations, and practical arrangements for personnel movements
  • Prepare various reports related to absences and personnel costs
  • Tax reporting – validate and report number of days offshore rotators spend in the host country based on the existing process
  • Employee Communication Handle all direct communication with offshore employees and own HR shared mailbox
  • Address ad hoc employee inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Subject to the region supported, may provide guidance and training to new and junior team members
  • Foster close collaboration within the HR function
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for all crew-related activities and events in HR systems, as applicable: Workday Connect IFS DaWinci WELS OCS MedHelp WinPDS And other systems which may be required to fulfill the responsibilities.
