Job description

We’re looking for someone who can lead the Office Experience who genuinely enjoys making people feel welcome, looked after and set up for success.

This is not a traditional Office Manager role. Think Concierge.

You’ll be the person who creates the first impression when someone walks through our doors, makes sure our people have a great experience when they come into the office, and notices the little things that make a big difference.

Our office is a dynamic, hot-desking environment used by our wider team, including our CEO and Executive Team. Your role will be to make the office feel effortless — welcoming visitors, keeping shared spaces looking their best, making meeting rooms work effectively and identifying opportunities to continually improve how we use our space.

We’re looking for someone with a genuine customer-service and concierge mindset. Someone who doesn't wait to be asked. Someone who notices, anticipates and acts.

What we offer?

A visible, people-focused role where you can shape the everyday workplace and visitor experience at Surry Hills office.

Opportunities to support your local community through paid community leave.

Great benefits to support your health and wellbeing, including access to discounted products.

Mental health support for you and your family through our Sonder assistance program.

What you’ll do?

Lead through service – set the standard for an exceptional workplace experience

Drive continuous improvement – use observations, feedback and data to make recommendations

Influence through relationships – build trusted relationships with external suppliers

Create an exceptional experience – anticipate what people need and build strong relationships with our Executive and broader teams

Make the office work brilliantly – monitor meeting room utilisation and other aspects to identify opportunities for improvement

Improve the employee experience – bring your best ideas forward and then lead the initiative through to implementation

What you’ll have?

Relevant experience in a customer-facing service environment, such as hospitality, hotel concierge, executive services, reception, workplace experience, guest services or premium retail.

Experience working in a professional corporate environment, ideally supporting senior leaders, executives, clients or external visitors.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a dynamic environment.

Experience identifying opportunities to improve processes, services or the customer/employee experience.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships and interact professionally with people at all levels of an organisation.

You'll have the opportunity to turn observations into improvements, use data and feedback to make recommendations about our workplace, and influence how our space works for the people who use it every day

If you're looking for a role where you can combine concierge-level service, people, problem solving and workplace improvement, we'd love to meet you.

Come and make our office a place people love to be.
