Job summary

people2people is seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead day-to-day operations in a busy Sydney healthcare setting. You will oversee front-of-house, support a high-performing team and ensure an exceptional experience for patients, clinicians and stakeholders.

Reporting to senior operations, you will manage rosters, streamline patient flow, handle escalations, and drive service delivery while ensuring compliance with healthcare and admin procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading clerical/reception teams in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven ability to supervise administrative teams.
  • Calm, organised and adaptable in a busy environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
  • Strong scheduling and workflow coordination.
  • Healthcare experience in medical or allied settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, private health fund or related billing advantageous.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Office Manager, Practice Manager or Administration Manager to oversee front-of-house operations, support a high-performing team, and ensure an exceptional experience for patients, clinicians and stakeholders.

The Opportunity

Reporting to senior operational leadership, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of multiple service areas within a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading, mentoring and supporting a clerical and reception team
  • Managing rosters, schedules and workforce planning
  • Driving efficient patient flow and service delivery
  • Handling escalated patient enquiries and complaints professionally
  • Overseeing billing, banking and administrative processes
  • Building effective relationships with clinicians, hospital stakeholders and internal teams
  • Monitoring operational performance and identifying improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare and administrative procedures
About You

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager, Practice Manager, Administration Manager or similar leadership role
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience supervising administrative teams
  • A calm, organised and adaptable approach in a busy environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, workflow coordination and customer service delivery
  • Experience within healthcare, medical, radiology, allied health or specialist practice settings will be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of Medicare, private health fund, DVA or related billing processes will be advantageous
