Job description

Better Rehab is on the lookout for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is keen to develop their operational and clinical leadership skills. This is a great opportunity to advance your career within a national disability and aged care, community allied health provider.

Better Rehab works across both the NDIS and Support at Home programs, providing clinicians with a broad and varied caseload. This allows you to develop your skills across a range of areas, including activities of daily living (ADLs), capacity building, assistive technology (AT), equipment prescription, and home modifications. As our Bankstown Site Team Leader, you’ll provide day-to-day leadership and support to clinicians within our Bankstown team while maintaining their own clinical caseload. This role is responsible for fostering a positive team culture, supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, responding to staff queries, and assisting with site‑level operational tasks. The Site Team Leader also provides guidance and supervision to Allied Health Assistants and may undertake clinician supervision responsibilities within their discipline, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and team development.

Day to day you will:

  • Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from participants' homes to day centres, parks, and even at the beach
  • Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.
  • Innovate and Collaborate: Whether you're dealing with complex cases, exploring new treatment approaches, or facing professional challenges, you'll have a whole multidisciplinary team in your corner.
