Ability ActionAustralia & MedHealth in Nowra is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Nowra region, delivering therapeutic services and developing individual goals. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, manage a varied caseload, perform assessments, provide evidence-based interventions, and stay current with relevant legislation and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
