Job summary

MedHealth Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Sutherland Shire region, including Caringbah, Cronulla and Lower St George. The role involves caseload management, assessments, and delivering evidence-based interventions to improve independence and wellbeing.

You will work in a hybrid model with office and community visits, joining a multidisciplinary team and receiving ongoing professional development and supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA.
• Passionate about community-based support for people with disability.
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function.
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life.

As our #AAA team continues to grow, we’re looking for an OccupationalTherapist to support participants across the Sutherland Shire region, covering Caringbah, Cronulla and Lower St George, depending on where you're based.

In this role you will:

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Current Occupational Therapymembership with AHPRA
• Passionate about community‑based support for people with disability
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
• Time management & organisational skills to manage varied caseload
