Job summary

Ability Action Australia is hiring an Occupational Therapist based in the Central Coast region, with opportunity to work near home in Tuggerah Clinic. You will manage a caseload, assess a range of developmental, cognitive and physical functions, and deliver evidence-based therapy to improve independence and wellbeing.

The role supports a balanced mix of home, community visits and clinic work, with supervision and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA.
• Passionate about community-based support for people with disability.
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Good time management and organisational skills to manage varied caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Assess participants' development, cognitive, emotional and physical function through observations and standardised assessments.
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve quality of life and meet goals.

We’re growing our #AAA team and looking for anOccupational Therapistbased in theCentral Coast region. Depending on your location, you’ll have the opportunity towork close to home and in our Tuggerah Clinic.
