Job summary

Better Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their South Australia team. The role offers multiple locations across SA, a salary range of $80,000–$120,000 plus super, and is a full-time permanent position.

You will conduct assessments and provide therapeutic interventions to a diverse group of clients aged 6–65, including pediatrics and adults, with conditions such as neurological disorders and ASD. AHPRA registration, police check, WWC, and NDIA checks are required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration or eligible to register.
• Valid police check and Working with Children Check are required.
• NDIS Working Screening Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assessment-based and therapeutic interventions for pediatrics and adults in the community.
• Design and implement therapy plans across a range of conditions including neurological and ASD.
• Assist with home modifications, equipment prescription, and assistive technology.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and document progress to NDIs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Present both assessment based and therapeutic interventions to pediatrics and/or adults out in the community
• Assess participant needs and design appropriate therapy plans. Working with participants with a range of conditions including neurological, ASD and many more.
• Provide support in the areas of home modifications (both complex and simple); equipment prescription including mobility aids, positioning supports, bathroom aids and seating; and assistive technology including self-care, low tech and learning aids.
• Collaborating with your multidisciplinary team
• Celebrating "Weekly Wins"
• Collaborating with your dedicated Clinical Supervisor and attend regular in-services
• Reporting directly to the NDIS

What we are Looking For

• You have relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
• Clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist
• You have your own car and a valid drivers’ licence
• You can provide evidence of:
• AHPRA registration
• Police Check
• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Working Screening Check
