KBR, Inc. is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Mission Integration team in Australia. You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions supporting Defence capabilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the full software development lifecycle.

You will design, develop, test, and support software applications in an agile environment, ensuring robust, scalable solutions while aligning with engineering best practices and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software in accordance with established engineering standards, processes, and best practices.
• Participate in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Assist with task decomposition, work planning, and effort estimation.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and features.
• Conduct and support unit testing, performance testing, and system integration activities.
• Contribute to system and technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across software engineering processes and practices.
• Represent KBR professionally while adhering to company policies, security requirements, and quality standards.
