Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join its Mission Integration team in Australia. Based in Canberra or Queensland, you will design, develop, and implement high-quality software supporting defence capabilities. You will collaborate across engineering, PMs and technical specialists through the lifecycle in an Agile setting.

You will work on complex, mission-critical systems, ensuring continuous improvement, technical excellence, and safe, secure software delivery for defence operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software-related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in ASP.Net, C#, HTML, JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software in line with standards and processes.
• Participate in agile software development sprint events.
• Assist with task decomposition and effort estimation.
• Assist with system testing including performance and unit tests.
• Assist with system documentation.
• Represent KBR professionally and follow company policies.
