Job summary

KBR is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Mission Integration team in Australia. You will contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of software applications supporting Defence capabilities in a collaborative, agile environment.

You will work with ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript and SQL Server, ensuring robust, scalable solutions while adhering to engineering standards and security requirements. NV1 clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as Software Engineer or similar.
• Experience developing applications with ASP.NET, C#, HTML, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software following established standards and best practices.
• Participate in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and features.
• Conduct and support unit testing, performance testing, and system integration activities.
• Contribute to system and technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across software engineering processes and practices.
