KBR in Australia is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our Mission Integration team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions that support Defence capabilities.

You'll work with multidisciplinary teams across the full software development lifecycle in an agile environment, designing, developing, testing, and supporting applications while adhering to engineering best practices. Active NV1 Defence Security Clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software-related field.
• 3+ years in a Software Engineer role.
• Experience with ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Understanding of OOP principles.
• Experience with unit testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software following engineering standards.
• Participate in Agile software development activities (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews).
• Assist with task decomposition, planning and estimation.
• Design, develop, test and maintain software applications and features.
• Conduct unit, performance, and integration testing.
• Contribute to system documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs and stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement of processes.
